Summer Fun!

Gavin, Mike and I have been enjoying the nice summer weather lately! We love to take Gavin to the park or to the San Tan splash area. (We have already almost used a whole bottle of sun block.) I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is walking so much now...I love it!

P.S. Mike passed his national skills test yesterday!! He was very excited.

Gavin's learning how to walk...WATCH OUT!!

Yesterday Gavin and I were just playing around as usual. After his morning bath I stood him up in front of me and he took 2 steps! I couldn't believe it. The rest of the day he was standing up and then would try to take a step then flop back down. At one point he took 4 baby steps :) I was so proud of him! Of course when I got the camera out he didn't want to show off...but I managed to record a little bit :)

Mike and I have a bet going on to see when Gavin will "officially" start walking. Mike thinks before his birthday. I didn't think so...but I might loose our bet because Gavin still has 3 weeks to practice :)

Happy Easter!

Gavin got his Easter pictures yesterday and I thought they turned out pretty good. He's always just so care free and easy going, I love it! He saw the Easter Bunny but he did NOT like him. :( After we were done with pictures, I had a "oh my goodness, I'm acting just like my mom" moment because all I wanted for Easter was pictures and I was so happy when I got them! I now understand what my mom meant all these years when she would say "All I want is ONE family picture a year...is that too much to ask?"

I'm so in LOVE with his little tie! What a little man :)

This picture was funny because Gavin just sat down and started playing with the eggs. I think for a second he forgot we were taking pictures :)

No Phone :(

It's official...my phone died! I can't believe I've had my cheap little phone for over 2 years...it's time for a new phone for me :) Until then, email is the only way to get a hold of me or call Mike's phone. Hope everyone is doing well.

The Basket!

The other day I was trying to do laundry and Gavin wanted to help me...So I let him stay in the basket and I continued to do what I was doing...
Mike even tied a rope around the basket and pulled him around the house :)

Now Gavin thinks he needs to play in this stupid basket EVERY DAY!!!

Kids...they are so easily entertained. Whatever makes him happy :)
