Yea for tummy time! Our friend Liz bought Gavin his new Pooh Garden tummy time spinner and he LOVES it :) Here are a few pictures.

"Mommy did you know..."

Good morning everyone. Today has been another great morning for us and as usual Gavin is so happy! As I was laying in bed playing with our little guy I couldn't help but think of all the millions of things he teaches me daily and how grateful and lucky I am to have him in my life! For all you other moms out there I'm sure you can understand and even add to my list of "Mommy did you know..."

Here are just some of the things Gavin has taught me/told me lately:

"Mommy did you know that time doesn't matter, but when I'm hungry it does. Did you know that my mobile is the coolest thing in the whole world and that my fist DOES taste good! Mommy did you know that if you raise your eye brows it helps you hold your head up higher. Mommy did you know that I don't really need to go to the bathroom every time you change my diaper, but it's fun to watch you duck and dodge :) Mommy did you know that I don't understand a word your saying to me but I smile anyway. And who really needs a chew toy when I've got your shoulder."

Just a few things we love...

I know we haven't updated our blog in awhile but that's because I went back to work and we have been so busy trying to fit everything into our crazy schedules. I figured I would share just a few things the Rich Family loves :)

Crayola! We love drawing pictures and writing our ABC's.
We also love making smores in the microwave. (It's not the best, but it's my kind of camping :)

Movie night! Madagascar was Mike and Hayden's favorite movie...it has now become mine and Gavins' :) I'll NEVER forget the night all four of us laid in our room and watched this movie as a family! We can't wait for the second one to come out!

Our Three Week Trip!

The first leg-Part A of our trip: Utah. We had a great time visiting friends and spending time with the family!

First leg-Part C: B.B.Q! We had a lot of fun visiting with everyone. We also had great food!! :)

First leg-Part D: 4th of July! We woke up early and saw the hot air balloons take off. Then we went to the Provo parade.

Gavin slept through the whole thing...but at least he was dressed for the occasion :)

First leg-Part E: Too much fun! The rest of the week was spent hanging out with Hayden. We went to the park, fed the ducks, went "waterfall hunting," dinosaur museum, and the Hogle Zoo!

Second leg-Part A: Vallejo, California. Mike, Maryn, Gavin and I drove from Utah to northern Cali (15 hours). Believe it or not we had a great drive and Gavin was so good! Maryn and I danced with POWERHOUSE for 5 days. Mike and Gavin watched every single show. Thanks Mike for all your help!

Second leg-Part B: San Fransisco! After we got done dancing we enjoyed driving into the city (about 20 miles away.) It was so cold! Mike loved making his souvenir pennies :)

Third leg-Part A: Anaheim, California. After we were done dancing we dropped Maryn off at the San Fransico airport and she flew home. Mike, Gavin and I then drove down to Anaheim to visit his family and show Gavin off :)

Third leg-Part B: Huntington Beach. One day we drove to the beach and walked around. It was beautiful. Mike was so happy to be back by the ocean! He showed me around and told me lots of stories from when he grew up. We had a great time :)
