Update...

Mike, Jenni and Gavin on Sunday, June 1st. We all went and saw Julie and Sheldon bless their son Crew. After the blessing we had a BBQ. It was nice spending time with family and friends on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon!

Here is Gavin only 17 days old. Boy he is changing fast! I'm not sure what I ate, but something upset his tummy and it has been a hard couple of days ! I felt so bad for our little man so I bought him a piggy wrist rattle to cheer him up :) Today he is feeling much better. I'm also feeling a lot better because Mike watched Gavin in the other room all night so I could actually get more than 2 hours of sleep. It was the first time in over 5 months that I slept the whole night...and it felt GREAT!! Thanks Mike!

HAYDEN!

On Sunday Mike drove back to Utah with my dad to spend a few days with Hayden. They had so much fun! They went to the zoo, dinosaur museum, bumper boats, race car track, played at the park and jumped on the tramp. He is such a fun little boy :) Mike can't believe how fast he is growing up...we love you Hayden! Hugs and kisses, Love Dad and Jen

Hair Cuts!

Buddy, Maggie and Jace all got hair cuts :) I don't have an after picture of Jace or Maggie but they are cute! It's been a change for all of them sharing the attention with Gavin, but overall I think they are adjusting well. Every time Gavin cries all three of them run over to see what's going on. Jace is my little watch dog...he doesn't let me or Gavin out of his sight. He will jump up on the chair and look over at Gavin sleeping in his pack-in-play. Buddy can't wait for Gavin to get a little bigger so he has someone to play with.

Wow, what a week! Gavin is 8 days old and it's been the best week ever! I never in a million years would of thought sleeping 3 hours a night, sitting in a glider chair 4 plus hours a day, changing 5 diapers an hour, 10 loads of laundry and dealing with buttocks pain would be so much fun :) Yes, it's a lot of work but TOTALLY worth it!! Today Gavin went to the hospital to get his blood drawn and he didn't even make a sound. He is such a good boy. Mike and I are very greatful he is a new addition to our lives. Other than a few minor recovery complications with me, everyone is healthy, happy and doing very well. We appreciate all the help, love and prayers that have been in our behalf.

Gavin John Rich

Today is Tuesday night and Mike, Gavin and I are all doing very well! Mike and I still haven't slept a whole lot, but we are enjoying having our little guy home. I can't stop looking at him...it seems like his cute little face changes every hour :) He has been so good today- All he wants to do is eat (every 1 to 1 1/2 hours), poop, then sleep. He loves to be held, and even smiles when I clog with my hands on his back...I think he remembers when I did that on my tummy :)
